We are proud to announce a new collaboration with Wind Youth Services to bring basic vet care to the pets of Sacramento's homeless youth.

The emotional and physical benefits of pet ownership are well documented.  For homeless youth, many of whom battle the lasting effects of trauma, the benefits are huge.  Not only do pets offer companionship, physical protection, and the reason to maintain structure and routine, pets provide homeless youth the sense of love and security that the rest of us associate with home.  After all, if home is where the heart is, then a dog may be the truest home many kids have.

Starting in October, 2015, we will be holding a monthly clinic for the pets of homeless youth at Wind's downtown Drop In Center at 1722 J Street, noon to 2 pm.

Vaccines, Flea and Tick prevention, Internal and External Parasite Control, Veterinary Exams, Care of Medical Problems, Collars, Leashes, Harnesses, ID Tags and Microchips.

Please contact us or Wind Youth Services for more information.
